Project Overview
LV House is a contemporary oceanfront residence overlooking the Pacific coastline of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Designed to embrace the region's tropical climate and dramatic landscape, the home unfolds through expansive terraces, generous overhangs, and seamless indoor–outdoor living spaces that frame uninterrupted views of the bay.
Natural materials define the architectural language. Warm timber ceilings, exposed concrete columns, and stone surfaces create a restrained palette that complements the surrounding vegetation while softening the scale of the contemporary structure. Floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing ocean breezes, natural light, and panoramic views to become part of everyday living.
The social spaces extend effortlessly toward an infinity pool that appears to merge with the horizon, creating a continuous dialogue between architecture and the Pacific Ocean. Throughout the residence, carefully composed perspectives, shaded outdoor living areas, and refined material detailing reflect Hurtado Arquitectos' approach to designing homes that respond naturally to climate, landscape, and the experience of inhabiting place.
